While looking at old home videos, I was inspired to make a nostalgic compilation. In my opinion, the video shows the idea of 'everything used to be better'. Early life is very personal to me, my home situation is completely different now. When I watch this video, a smile always appears on my face.
What I like about editing is to look for interesting moments in footage and place them in a different. In this way, new images are created. A perhaps more fun or interesting version of reality. An ‘improved’ memory. In Early life I play with this idea.
